Between July 3 and 5, the Alfândega do Porto Congress Center hosted the Encontro Ciência 2024, the largest annual science and innovation event in Portugal.
4LifeLAB was present at the Science and Technology Exhibition with its work with S2uL, in partnership with CEiiA. Under the motto “+Science fot One Global Health and Wellbeing”, the event was aligned with 4LifeLAB’s mission, wich aims to speed up rapid madical responses in emergency and crisis situations, as well as the objectives of the CoLab S2uL, which are focused on improving people’s quality of life.
During the event, the 4LifeLAB and S2uL CoLabs presented their results and experiences in implementing innovative solutions for the health sector. Highlights included the use of advanced technologies, such as the Surgical Helmet with augmented reality glasses, which provides real-time information during surgical procedures, and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, which aim to efficiently transport organs, blood and antidotes.
This meeting brought together national and international researchers to discuss scientific advances in various fields, promoting debate in the most diverse areas of scientific activity.
In connection with this event, 4LifeLAB took part in the Falar Global program, in an episode dedicated to “Innovation in health: the technological projects that contribute to everyone’s well-being”, where the new technological solutions that are transforming the health area were discussed.
