4LifeLAB, in collaboration with CEiiA – Centre of Engineering and Product Development and Eliot, has developed a strategic partnership focused on the use of unmanned aircraft in drills and emergency exercises with the Municipality of Valongo.
This project has the support of Valongo’s Civil Protection, its Municipal Coordinator, Delfim Cruz, and the Head of Unit, José Gonçalves, who have been key players in implementing this initiative.
The aim of this collaboration is to strengthen the resilience of communities and ensure a more effective response in emergency situations, through innovation and the integration of advanced technologies. Joint research has made it possible to test new operational strategies and improve response capacity in crisis scenarios.
