What we do

The 4LifeLAB is a Laboratory Collaborative (CoLAB) that emerged during the pandemic from a a base of collaboration between doctors, engineers, researchers and industry, who came together around around the challenge of developing a ventilator in just 45 days for fabrication rapid in large scale – Ventilator Atena.

The success of projects such as theAtena Ventilator and the helmet surgical —which also emerged during the pandemic—led to the creation of 4LifeLAB, which aims to act as a multidisciplinary entity capable of developing medical devices and related systems with a view to quickly resolving problems in the field of medical emergencies and healthcare that have an impact on healthcare professionals and patients in the short and medium term.
