Between 3 and 5 July, 4LifeLAB was present at the Science 2024 Meeting, organised by Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT) and Universidade do Porto, with the work developed with S2uL, in partnership with CEiiA // Centre of Engineering and Product Development.
The biggest event in the field of science and technology, with the motto ‘+Science for One Health and global wellbeing’ intersects with our purpose as a Collaborative Laboratory that aims to speed up rapid medical responses in emergency and crisis situations and with that of Colab S2uL, whose focus is to improve people’s quality of life.
In this debate and discussion of various scientific areas with national and international researchers, the joint work between the 4LifeLAB CoLabs and S2uL presented the scientific community with their results and experiences in improving citizens’ quality of life with fast and efficient medical responses in emergency and/or disaster situations, which include the implementation of strategic innovations in health services, such as the Surgical Helmet and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles.
